It’s never too early to visit a museum, and the National Roman Museum knows this all too well! The Museum’s Educational Service devotes significant attention to children and their families, with activities, educational workshops and a wide range of initiatives designed for the whole family. Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles… everyone is asked to take part actively because a visit to the Museum is an experience to be shared and remembered.
The objective of the Educational Service is in fact to promote familiarity with the Museum’s spaces and works through shared, emotionally engaging experiences: discovering, recognising, manipulating, stimulating all five senses – these will help small visitors not only to become passionate about their cultural heritage but also to achieve greater autonomy and self-awareness, developing their cognitive and social abilities. Because the Museum is a place to live and love.
