Il Museo va in Ospedale… a Scuola

Since April 2018, the Museum has been running the Il Museo va in Ospedale … a Scuola project, in cooperation with the teaching staff from the School of the I.C. Virgilio Section of the Ospedale Pediatrico Gesù Bambino children’s hospital, intended for primary and secondary school students in the Oncohaematology Admissions and Day Hospital areas. The National Roman Museum’s Educational Service has developed fun and educational workshops that use small archaeological finds made available to hospitalised children by the Museum. This means they can observe original archaeological materials at first hand, something that makes any visit to a museum unique. The initiative obtained the major recognition of the European Heritage Label in 2018.
