{"id":19006,"date":"2026-01-29T10:00:09","date_gmt":"2026-01-29T09:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/museonazionaleromano.it\/?p=19006"},"modified":"2026-03-12T16:36:50","modified_gmt":"2026-03-12T15:36:50","slug":"new-archaeological-finds-at-the-national-roman-museum-in-the-museo-dellarte-salvata-at-the-baths-of-diocletian","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/museonazionaleromano.it\/en\/2026\/01\/new-archaeological-finds-at-the-national-roman-museum-in-the-museo-dellarte-salvata-at-the-baths-of-diocletian\/","title":{"rendered":"New archaeological finds at the National Roman Museum in the Museo dell\u2019Arte Salvata at the Baths of Diocletian"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"275\" data-end=\"630\">The <strong data-start=\"279\" data-end=\"306\">Museo dell\u2019Arte Salvata<\/strong>, housed in the Octagonal Hall of the <strong data-start=\"344\" data-end=\"367\">Baths of Diocletian<\/strong>, has been enriched with new archaeological finds, once again recovered through investigations carried out by the <strong data-start=\"481\" data-end=\"544\">Carabinieri Command for the Protection of Cultural Heritage<\/strong>, the most recent of which allowed the repatriation of numerous items last December.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"632\" data-end=\"1098\">Thanks to these operations, the public can now see, for the first time, as part of the exhibition <strong data-start=\"730\" data-end=\"750\">\u201cNew Recoveries\u201d<\/strong>, four Etruscan antefixes belonging to the decoration of a cult building from the 6th\u20135th century BCE in the Campetti di Veio area (Rome).
